“my what a beautiful water hose you have!”
Besides being the best garden tool pick-up line EVER, it’s also the Alice Supply Co. water hose. Alice Supply Co.’s website is up and running and open for business. You should want to go to there…soon.

This week on “housekeeping” day we returned from our job to greet a sparkling kitchen and several black marks of unknown origin on the wall next to our bed. We believed them to be the handiwork of the vacuum’s soft brush plastic surround because upon closer inspection the offending instrument had left several small, mark-hugging [...]

R&B laundry carts have been the commercial standard since 1946. We think the sturdy, industrial design is a perfect illustration of form-meets-function. Why should local coin-operated laundromats have all the fun? They’re perfect for the home too.
Store laundry soap on the bottom shelf of the elevated cart.

The toolbox, shown above, has been making the shelter magazine rounds. It comes in solid, patterns and the terribly taunting faux wood (below).

Although Clean+istry rather insists upon packing umbrellas and lounge chairs away before winter, we wanted to see the table’s perfect silhouette throughout the long, slow winter months. And because there is no bottom to the depths of [...]

Today we are prompted to modify an existing post on wiping the bathroom tiles from 2007 after reading a NYT’s piece about preventing and eradicating mold in the bathroom.
Clean+istry dislikes cleaning bathroom tile, and the grout in between, after it has become dirty and discolored. The task is difficult and the results rarely satisfy. Of course [...]

People (in contrast to parakeets) frequently protect framed art from dust and dirt with window glass. But as anyone who has adjusted his/her eyeliner from the reflection of an old master drawing can attest, window glass and its greenish tint does nothing for the viewing experience. It won’t block harmful UV rays either.

There’s a fine post at Remodelista on Ruby Beets, one of our favorite Sag Harbor Stores. We dream about Saturday afternoon naps on the custom daybed below.
Ruby Beets is where we were introduced to Redecker Brushes, where a full line can be found.
