We were reminded of the gentle cleaning properties of toothpaste this past weekend.
Clean+istry’s well meaning housekeeper, while moving several Santa Clara pots along the surface of our Vitsoe shelving, inadvertently scratched the painted metal surface (which of course answers the question of whether Vitsoe shelving will scratch).

This past week SC Johnson announced plans to provide complete product disclosure for its entire line of cleaning products by 2012. That includes listings of dyes, preservatives and fragrances. <Applause here.>

On our previously noted journey to Conran’s this past week, we picked up Clipper Mill’s Chamois Covered Sponge. We’ve been looking for a more pleasing alternative to the pop-up sponge that we keep next to the basin in the bath.
