VIPP charity auction

VIPP and Helena (Supermodel) Christensen have announced the VIPP Charity Auction benefiting Food Bank For New York City and Chernobyl Children’s Project International. Mavens from fashion, design, art and entertainment have been invited to put their own unique touch on the classic Vipp pedal bin (below, Alice Temperley, Fashion Designer).

Clean+istry just happened to be in Conran’s NYC ‘hood yesterday (where they will be on display through about Sept 18) and had the good fortune of seeing these extra special Vipps for ourselves. Some of our favorites:

The auction is scheduled for September 18 at the Winston Wächter Fine Art Gallery in New York City. A separate silent auction will feature the creations of Michael Stipe, Mario Batali and, naturally, Bono.
