comments, please
September 18th, 2008For some time now, Clean+istry has wondered why its readers have been so vocally absent, leaving few, if any, comments about our posts. After all, we take our imperious positions on issues of cleanliness seriously. They are designed in part to provoke outrageous agreement or mild protest. For instance, we felt that this week’s earlier post on cleaning under stressful circumstances might spark some interest, given the stock market’s free-fall. When no one commented, we felt freakishly alone with our compulsive need to vacuum.
Later in the week, we managed to weave the highly charged phrase “lipstick on a pig” into a post and felt very proud of it. Still, no one.
And then a kind reader pointed out that to leave a comment one must be a registered WordPress user. This made no sense to us. We investigated the matter and discovered an errant setting that has now been corrected. We are pleased to report that for the past several days, anyone has been able to leave a comment without logging into WordPress.
Thank you for your patience.
