OXO silicone pot holder

The OXO silicone Pot Holder has addressed Clean+istry’s beef with the traditional all-fabric version. Specifically, our objections are: they’re thick, bulky and ultimately dangerous to use; AND, food stains (inevitable even for the die hard take-out cook) are hard to remove because, let’s face it, we rarely launder them after they first become soiled.

The OXO silicone pot holder has become the Clean+istry “official” pot holder (OXO “Corporate” is so relieved to hear the news). The silicone is heat resistant to 600°F, which should be sufficient unless you’re blowing glass. The fabric inside remains cool and comfy. The silicone’s ribbing allows the user to manipulate both small and large objects with confidence. At 10 inches long, the Pot Holder covers the wrist. Plus, on a flat surface, the Pot Holder doubles as a trivet.

Official OXO maintenance instructions: To clean, wipe with a damp sponge. If necessary, place in laundry machine and wash on cold. Turn inside-out (so inner cotton liner is visible on the outside) before placing in Dryer.
